How to switch from your onboard camera to Center Cam within GoToMeeting


Steps:

Note that your CenterCam may show up under a different name that usually includes both "cam" and "HD." Here are a few common names under which Center Cam may be described:

  1. 1080 Webcam
  2. CC HD Webcam
  3. CCHD Camera
  4. FHD Camera
  5. etc.

There are 3 ways to ensure that Center Cam is your default webcam for GoToMeeting. In each case, it's wise to test your camera before you start a session. 

First, ensure that your computer recognizes your CenterCam by checking in the Device Manager.

How to select your webcam and test  before a session:

  1. Click the Camera icon to preview your feed.
  2. To change to your Center Cam, click the Settings icon and use the Camera drop-down menu.
  3. To join the session with your camera on, click OK, I'm ready.

How to select your webcam and preview during a meeting: 

  1. While in a meeting, click the Settings icon.
  2. A preview of your webcam will be displayed. 
    1. Use the drop-down menu to select a you Center Cam if it is not already selected.
    2. Use the radio buttons to change the size. 
  3. To start sharing, click the Webcam icon at the bottom of GoToMeeting or in the Control Panel.

How to select your webcam and test at any time:

  1. Right-click on the Daisy icon in your system tray and click Preferences.
  2. Click Webcam in the left menu.
  3. A preview of your webcam will be displayed. 
    1. You can use the drop-down menu to select your Center Cam if it isn't already selected.
    2. Use the radio buttons to change the size.
  4. Click Advanced if you'd like to open your webcam software and control advanced settings (like zoom and exposure).
  5. Once set, click OK.
