How to change the Center Cam lens AND focusing

Steps:

The Center Cam comes with an interchangeable external lens, similar to a DLSR camera. Sometimes the lens shifts during shipping. To refocus it, follow these steps:

  1. Plug the camera into your computer (USB) before you begin.

  2. Open a video window so you can actively see your image as you focus the Center Cam.

  3. Unscrew the inner locknut.

  4. Rotate the lens clockwise for about 1/4 turn (90°). Monitor you focus as you do this and stop as your image comes into focus.

If your focus becomes MORE blurry after this step, rotate the lens counterclockwise slowly for about a 1/2 turn (180°). Again, monitor you focus as you do this and stop as your image comes into focus.

  5. Re-secure the locknut on the camera so that the lens will remain securely in place.
